Fall

The Fall is back and it brings a few new things.  A new school year, and a new Fall-Ball season.  School and baseball is about all we do for a good chunk of the year.  Dahl and Ty Started 4th and 2nd grade this year.  They are growing up fast.  It's weird that I will have a kid in middle school next year.  They were very excited to get back to school and see all their friends again.  Even though we moved to a new city, the district was kind enough to let us stay at their current Elementary school.  The boys have been doing great in school so far this year, Dahl got straight A's, perfect attendance and achieved his reading goal on his first report card.  He was very proud (and so were we) because only 2 other kids in his class achieved that and they are in the gifted and talented program.  Smarty pants.  Ty still doesn't get real marks or grades.  His report cards read "Developed or Still Developing" instead.  So if we pretended "Developed" meant "A" than he would be an "A" students as well.  I love how excited they get when they do well in school.  I hope that continues throughout the years.  

This Fall-Ball season Dahl was on the River Bandits, and Ty was on the White Soxs.  They both played great.  Dahl's team was a good little team but lost a bunch at the beginning.  By the end of the season they were winning their games and playing great.  Ty's team went undefeated this year.  It was a fun season to watch.  We took the boys to their first Texas Rangers game and it was a ton of fun.  It's a great stadium. 

The only other thing going on is Rex started Nursery a few weeks ago.  He used to love it before he HAD to go, but now it's not really his favorite, lets be honest he hates it, and he has become really clingy to me anywhere we go.  Hopefully he will start loving it again.
