Wednesday was Aaron's 28th Birthday!! I know this post is a few days late, but better late than never. Aaron got off school early on his birthday which was nice, but when he got home he had a really back headache. So he went down the street and got a massage. He came home feeling much better. Then we went to Dahl's Tee-Ball practice, then out to dinner as a family. When we got home we ate some really yummy cake. Right as I was about to snap a bunch of pictures of Aaron and the boys Dahl dropped the camera on the counter (it only fell about 4 inches) but now it won’t work AT ALL. So I got pretty much no pictures of the evening. Dang it.
Well I just wanted to tell Aaron how much we love him, and how much we appreciate everything he does for our family. Aaron is an awesome husband and dad. I love how excited the boys get EVERY time they hear the garage door open when Aaron gets home. They run and hide, then Aaron has to wonder around the house trying to find them.
Birthday cake (Sandra I covered the edges because I tried to make it really fast and it looked too sloppy. It was good though!!)
Aaron won this jersey in a draw when he was a kid. When he went to collect it from the store the guy working there said, "you don't know what this is. Put it in a bag and keep it somewhere safe. Take it out when you are older." Well it has been in that bag up until last week. It is a Dallas Cowboys retro jersey signed by 3 player. Randy White, Tony Dorsett and I can't make out the third name, sorry. Anyways I framed it for his birthday because it was about time it came out of storage. I wanted to get it framed in a really nice shadow box, but then I found out how much it would cost $$$. So it is in a cheaper frame for now. Maybe in a few years we can upgrade it to a frame it deserves.
Later that evening Ty did THIS to his forehead. That is the result of walking to your room crying, while covering your eyes and trying to turn a corner all at the same time. He didn't make it AROUND the corner. He ran right into it. OUCH.

Happy Birthday Aaron!!!!! The cake looks deliciouses! Sorry about the camera. That stinks. Brynlee did that exact same thing on my birthday last month and we had to get a new camera. We want to come visit really soon!!
It looks like the mystery # 88 is Drew Pearson who played in the 70s and early 80s with Dallas. Look him up. Mom

the # 88 and the approx. date and the internet. I'm must be brilliant. Mom
Happy birthday Aaron...and Stacey I agree with Sara...that cake looks sooo YUMMY! Wow...your Mom IS brilliant. Has she thought of becoming a private investigator?! Tell Ty bumps and scars are cool...I have a few and it's fun to remember why and where I got them. Why write a journal when you can look at your body scars and remember all the GOOD times?!
Happy Birthday Aaron. The jersey looks great in the frame. Poor Ty, his head looks so sore :(
got to love the goose bumps, honestly how do kids survive these days?
Happy Birthday Aaron!!! Looks like a good celebration. Poor Ty. Hope to see you guys soon!
I love the look of that cake. Wow! I love the look on Ty's face as well. That cherry on top just calls to me, "Start here!"
It was good to go to Portos with ya. It reminded me of just how much I love that place.
