Lately

On the weekend we headed out to Palm Springs to spent time with Grandpa, Grandma, Dave, Lisa and the kids. It was a fun and much needed break. Aaron had a couple days of school so we were able to spend more time out there than originally planned. We love Palm Springs. Not only is it an oasis in the middle of the dessert, but every time we go out there we are always amazed at how relaxing it is. Thanks mom and dad for letting us hang out for the weekend. It was awesome!
The boys and mom playing some golf~

While the boys (and mom) were golfing, Lisa and I took the kids over to one of the Marriott resorts. They have this really cool boat ride that starts in the middle of the lobby. They also have about 10 or so bird cages that have all sorts of different kinds of parrots in them. As you can tell by the picture the birds were VERY loud.

Here is the AMAZING quilt that Sandra and Jessica made for my mom's 60th birthday. Go to Lullaby Lucy to my sister-in-law's blog so you can check out all the details. My cousin Sylvie did the quilting and it looks awesome! I can't wait to see it in real life in a few months.

On another note.  I can't stop watching the Olympics.  We have been staying up WAY too late every night.  We are really rooting for Canada but so far we haven't been too impressive.  I guess we have got a few golds.  I really hope we can step it up a notch.  Also, we finally found Aaron a car.  Now I don't have to drive him to and from school anymore!!  YAHOO!
(Pictures were stolen from both Saunders blogs. Thank you!)
