August

August was full of events this year. Aaron and I celebrated our 11 year anniversary.  Which seems crazy because we started dating when I was 16 years old.  That seems like a lifetime ago.  I can't really picture life without Aaron.  I love that guy.  11 years of marriage, 2 countries, 3 states, 2 Universities, 2 degrees, 4 kids, 8 homes, lots of incredible memories and awesome friends made along the way.  We have been through a lot together and I wouldn't want to do it with anyone else.  I love you Aaron.

To celebrate, we bought our first home in Sherman, and moved in on our Anniversary.  Well, I should say we moved out of our rental and moved all our stuff into the garage of our new home.  They weren't able to get the final inspection done in time, so we had a long weekend sleepover party at the Brown's for a few days.  It was fun, the kids loved it.  Thank you Browns, we love you guys.  It's a wonderful feeling to be home owners, very exciting.  No more ceilings falling in, bugs and spiders galore or dealing with AC/heating problems every time the weather changes.  Yahoo!

That's all the happy stuff that happened.  I also got into a car accident with the kids.  It was very scary.  Dahl thought the van was on fire (so did I for a second) and was freaking out.  Luckily no one was hurt, just a few aches and pains.  I think I might have fractured my clavicle, but I never did find out for sure.  It was extremely sore and I couldn't move it much for a good month.  It was not my fault either which was nice.  Our van ended up being a total loss which was a total bummer.  I loved that van.  It had been through all our moves, kids and adventures with us.  I was actually very sad to leave it at the shop when I went to collect all our belongings.  I'm usually not very sentimental, but it made me teary to say goodbye to our old van.

 That was August 2014
It's always fun to run around like crazy in the big empty rooms of new homes.  I remember doing this as a kid.
