May Long

Second post today.  Still catching up.

May Long Weekend, was awesome.  We usually chill out at the house on long weekends, but we wanted to make this one FUN.  And we did!

Friday:  

Took the boys to the LA Zoo

 Saturday: 

Rode the train to downtown LA to get some yummy breakfast and to go to the Natural History Museum.

 Sunday/Monday: 

Drove down to San Diego for the night so we could go to the USS Midway Battleship.  It was pretty awesome.

 Room service dessert and a movie.  Doesn't get much better.

The USS Midway was incredible.  I couldn't believe how massive it was.  I could never live in the small living spaces they have.  It's insane.

Everyone gets a headset for the tour so you can listen to some cool facts about the Midway.

After the Midway we ate some lunch and headed over the bridge to Coronado Island.  Man it was nice.  I want to live there.  Beautiful homes, shops and beaches.  

 Then we headed home.  It was a fantastic May Long Weekend.
