Christmas morning I must say was AWESOME. It was so fun to see how excited Dahl and Ty were. They are at that PERFECT age for loving Christmas morning. One item that was on their "SANTA" list this year were Pillow Pets. They have been wanting these for about a year and a half now. Well they finally got them, and they were thrilled.
The first thing Dahl said when he woke up was "let's see what kind of wrapping paper Santa used." Good thing I took that into consideration the night before. Smarty pants.
It's a Pillow, it's a Pet, it's a Pillow Pet (I have a really cute video of Ty singing the Pillow Pet song. I will try and post it later)
Let the opening begin
Reid actually really enjoyed opening presents too. He mostly just wanted to eat the paper though.
Star Wars guys from G-Lo and Grandpa. Thank You!
Helping Reid
So I started a quilt for Dahl about 10 months ago, and never got around to finishing it. I had enough fabric left over to make another one. So I buckled down, made another for Ty and got them quilted. They turned out great. They loved them. I wish I had enough fabric to make one for Reid too. I will have to get on that.
I love how Ty is trying to wrap it around his body while it is still folded up.
Dahl's other thing he really wanted was a transformer that actually transforms.
It was also Dahl's 6th birthday yesterday. It is a challenge having it on Christmas. We are still trying to figure out the best way to celebrate it. We are open to suggestions. This year we are celebrating it when Grandma and Grandpa get here this week. When we were done opening presents Dahl turned to us and said "I am 6 today by the way." I guess we should say Happy Birthday before Merry Christmas. Happy Birthday Dahl. We love you so much.

Ty really wanted this dinosaur guy. Can you tell he is excited
Here are the quilts up close. I think they turned out great. (Ty left, Dahl right)
I love the soft Minky on the back
It was a wonderful Christmas for us this year. We miss all the family, but it was nice to chill at home and relax with just our little family. Later in the evening we went and met up with some family and friends and enjoyed a yummy dinner of waffles, eggs, bacon and cinnamon buns...yummy. Thanks Millers!
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas, and I hope everyone has a fun New Years planned. We are excited for Grandma and Grandpa to get here in a few days to celebrate New Years with us. Yahoo!

Audrey and Carter are going to be jealous of those pillow pets! Too funny. When we see them in the store they both start singing that song. Very catchy! It was good to eat some waffles and hear about the day. Looking forward to a fun New Years weekend! Happy Birthday Dahl!!
