Monday was a HAPPY day for Ty. He has been watching Dahl do swim lessons for the past year, and he has ALWAYS wanted to go himself. He has to be 3 years old to do lessons without me in the pool, and all the mom and tot classes were never at good times for us. So he got to sit with me and watch Dahl swim. Well I called the Rose Bowl Aquatic Center on Monday and told them he will be 3 in 4 months, and asked if he can start a little early. They said YES!!!! They happened to have a class for him at the same time as Dahl's class. Perfect. I have never seen Ty more excited when I told him that he gets to do swimming lessons too. He is the only kid in his class so he pretty much has private lessons. (usually private would be a lot extra, score)

His goggles were getting a little low on his face.....I love it.
Ty loved his class and he did SOOO good. When he got out of the pool he said "That was fun, I like Mary."(His teacher)

He is the cutest thing!!! I miss those boys so much! I am so glad they let him start early and that he practically has private lessons!
I bet he will dream about swimming tonight! He probably feels so old! Can't wait to see his new skills in the pools this summer!
That is so cute. Ty is growing up! It reminds me of the cold winter days we would take Dahl and Haley to swim lessons. Those were the good old days! :)

Love this post! 1. Love that it is warm enough to swim outside in January. 2. Love that Ty will take a swimming lesson while you just watch, how brave! 3. Love the pictures!! Ryan keeps looking at them and singing "Ty and Dahl, Ty and Dahl."
Wait...is that REALLY a turtle he's got on his board? COOL!!! I want to take lessons with Ty...he's gonna be such a GREAT swimmer! Can't wait for more updates.
