I forgot to blog about this last week, so here I go. At Disneyland they have a Jedi Training Camp that kids from the audience can be picked and become "REAL" Jedi. They get a light saber, learn how to use it, then they get to fight Darth Vader. It is pretty cool. We had gone to it 2 times before last week and Dahl didn't get picked either time. Both times the kids on either side of him got picked but not him. The first time this happened Dahl was totally fine with it because he thought he would get a turn right after. When the show was over and he realized that he wasn't going to get a turn he was pretty disappointed. The second time it happened and he didn't get picked he was crushed. He was trying so hard no to cry, it was so sad. So last week we went again in hopes he would get picked. Aaron made him a T-Shirt with Master Yoda on it hoping it might make a difference. Well once again both kids on either side of him and the kid behind him got picked. At one point he thought he got picked and started walking up to the front and I had to pull him back. Then when there were only 2 spots left HE WAS CHOSEN!!! Lets just say this made his week! Dahl in now a REAL Jedi Master!!!!!!!!

Geez, if you guys were like the rest of us (1 trip to Disneyland every 2 years), that would have been 6 years coming! By then Dahl probably would have been "too cool" to want to go up anyway. :)
