Christmas Stockings

After I made Dahl's football pants for Halloween I was in the mood for sewing. I haven't sewed in years and it was kind of fun. So I decided to make some Christmas Stockings. I figured I would start off doing something simple. What I really want to do is make quilts for the kids beds, but I don't have the confidence right now...... Sandra I need you here. Anyways here they are. I decided to make them all different just for fun. They turned out pretty good. In our 5 years of marriage we have never been home for Christmas so I have NEVER decorated, but I thought since Dahl is getting older I should start decorating the house more. We are going to Atlanta this year to visit Aaron's family!! I think I will put some stuff in our stockings before we leave so when we get back Dahl can see that Santa still comes to our house even though we aren't there. Now I just need to go find some cute stocking hangers so I can hang them from the mantle. I am still in the mood to sew, so if anyone has a good idea for another easy project let me know.

Makes me want to start sewing again too! Just bought some material for a skirt...I remember those as being fairly easy! And I can't believe your boys...they're getting so cute...Ty's looking like a little brother, not a little baby! How fun for those two!
