Happy Easter

I love Easter time because Spring is just around the corner, or it could be because of all the candy and chocolate. On Friday afternoon I went up to Costco to get some stuff when I got a phone call from Dahl. He was so sad because he had to leave the park earlier than planed because he sprained his ankle. There is a big hill next to the park and Dahl was running up it holding his soccer ball. (at the top of the hill it is straight up impossible for Dahl to get to the top.) I guess he got as far as he could and then started coming down the hill backwards. He took about 3 backwards steps and fell, twisting his ankle. So once again Dahl got to eat dinner on the couch with ice on his ankle. And yes it the same foot that I dropped the soup can on a couple of days earlier. It is now Monday and he still won't walk on his foot. He had been crawling everywhere. I think he is more scared that it will hurt then anything.

I love that Dahl is now old enough that he understand things like Santa and the Easter Bunny. He was SO excited for the Easter Bunny to come. We had a little eater egg hunt for him Sunday morning and he thought it was so cool. He had to crawl all over the house because of his foot. I found an awesome Dinosaur Easter basket at Costco and when Dahl found it he couldn't believe it!!! He was so happy.

Oh poor Dahl...he definitely has bad luck when it comes to his feet. Looks like he scored with the Easter Bunny though. How fun is that? I cant' wait until Hailey cares about stuff like that!

When you guys come up this summer we should definitley get everyone together and reminisce.

Holy cow, awesome easter basket! Man I wish I had stuff that cool when I was a kid haha. So adorable though, I love how exciting these things are for children, so innocent.
