Family Vacation Part 2

We are now in Sunny California, for the Sacramento Temple dedication. (for those of you who don't know, Aaron served his mission here.) We are staying with Ron and Leslie Astle. (Very good friends of ours from here. Aaron baptized Leslie.) We have had so much fun so far. Yesterday we spent the whole day in San Fransico, Aaron and I had never been there before. We had so much fun. It is such a crazy place. We drove around the whole city in amazement. We spent alot of time down at Pier 39, checking out the shops, watching the sea lions, taking pictures, and eating the best crab ever. We took the trolly down town to check out the shopping, and when we tryed to get back on the trolly to go back to the Pier they were having problems, so we had to walk to the nearest trolly pick up. It wasn't very far but man it felt far when we have to HIKE up those steap San Fransico streets. It is so crazy how steap they are. I have alot of pictue that I will post when we get home. There is a dental school there called UOP (University of Pacific) and it is the school Aaron would love to go to. We drove by that to check it out also. We had a great time, thanks Ron and Leslie.
Today we went to the California State Fair in Sacramento. It was fun. We ate a ton of great food. It was vert similar to the Calgary Stampede. There was a petting zoo that Dahl went nuts for. He was so fearless. He would take hand fulls of hay and feed it to all the goats, pigs and deer. It was really cute. Well I'm sure you are all more interested in the pictures. SO I will finish blabbing when you all have something to look at.
