Martin Luther King Day

So yesterday was Martin Luther King Day so Aaron was out of school!!! Yippy!! We had nothing to do so I got on the internet to see if there were any fun activities we could do as a family. I found out that at Thanksgiving Point (which is only 15 minutes away) they have a North American Museum of Ancient Life. So I went to the website and found out it was a Dinosaur Museum. I thought this could be fun. So we called up Aaron's cousins and they came along with us. It was so much fun. It is a really good museum, and totally kid friendly. If Dahl was about a couple of years older he would have enjoyed it more. They have tons a centers where kids can dig in sand for dinosaur bones, or make impressions of fossils. There was also a little cave that Dahl loves to climb through. There is one station where there is all this sand and water, and there all these little dinosaurs. You can flood them or biuld mountians, or just play around. I think Aaron and his cousin had more fun at this station then the kids did. Every time Dahl would see a new dinosaur he would point and go "ooooooohhhh" it was so funny. We set him down by one dinosaur to take some pictures and he loved it. He didn't want to move. Aaron tried to pick him up and he flipped out so Aaron put him back down and he was totally happy. Anyways if anyone come s to visit in the near future we should go to this museum. It is really cool. Here are some pictures.

Thanksgiving point is sweet! You need to take Dahl to the Easter Egg hunt that Thanksgiving point holds every year. It is crazy how much candy is on the ground, lots of people too.
