This weekend hasn't been that great. Yesturday Dahl woke up with a fever and slept pretty much all day. He really wasn't feeling good. So all day saturday we just sat around the house and did nothing. Then Dahl was awake most of the night crying with even a higher fever over 101 degrees.....it was really sad. He would just sit in our bed a cry, he didn't even want anyone to touch him, he kept pushing me away. And you guys know him, he really likes to cuddle so it was so sad to watch. Finally Sunday rolled around. Dahl seemed to be feeling better but still wasn't his normal self, so Aaron stayed home from church with him since it was my week to teach our sunday school lesson. Church was good. When I got home Dahl was burning up and I guess was asleep the majority of the time I was gone. So we gave him some medicine and then put him in a luke warm bath, and he sure felt better after that. Now he is just sitting with Aaron watching football while I blog away. Well I hope all of you are having a much more enjpyable weekend than us. Later!

keep a close eye on him. poor little guy. doesn't it make you sad when little kids are sick. you really know how much you love them when they are sick. love ya
that is a truth-a-tude, get his ears checked. so not fun, he shouldn't have a fever for so long....
he'll pull out of it, but get him checked. hope the week is better!
we've found that motrin works the best for high fevers and when they are really bad you can give motrin and 2 hours later give tylenol because they are totally different meds. (doctor's advice) Anyway just thought it might help hope Dahl's feeling better. give him a squeeze for us.
