We had a nice Christmas this year. It was just our family. We really missed all the cousins and fun that comes with going home for Christmas. But at the same time it was nice to just relax and really not do too much. We started off the holidays by going and getting our classic glass bottle sodas. It's tradition. We tried a Bacon flavored one this year, and it was horrible. Maybe the worst thing I have ever tasted. Ty had teeth falling out of his head all month long. He has 3 missing at the moment. He let Aaron pull one with floss, but let the other two dangle from his mouth until the fell out on their own. Midway through December we had a brutal ice storm. It basically shut down the city and schools for a full week. So our Christmas vacation seemed really long. It was kind of awesome.
Christmas morning was fun as usual. Dahl got a guitar, he's been asking for one for the last 3 years. Ty got a 2DS. Reid got another Buzz Lightyear. Rex mostly just chewed on everything like a puppy. He was happy. Those where the highlights. We ate a really good breakfast of waffles, bacon and eggs, then went to our Christmas Day movie. This year it was Frozen. Super cute.
Dahl also turned 9 years old on Christmas Day. Man, I can't believe how big and old he is getting. I love that kid. He is so awesome in every way. He is really helpful with Rex, he is kind, sweet, loving and I couldn't ask for a better kid. He is the best older brother. Happy Birthday Dahl. We sure love ya.
BIRTHDAY BOY!
