We arrived in Calgary after 5 days of travelling and surprised everyone. They were all starting to wonder where mom had disappeared too and dad was horrible at lying. My parents sold their house, so this was the last time for the kids and I to enjoy their amazing property. We soaked it up. We will miss that place like crazy. The kids, played, played and played. Reid got eaten alive my mosquitoes. I relaxed and enjoyed being back home in Calgary. Pretty much all of August was spent out at the cabin though. I love it there. The boys had the time of their lives. They were completely preoccupied with their cousins. I barely saw them all month. That's how summers should always be. It was perfect.
It was really really sad to say goodbye. I hate goodbyes. But the summer came to an end and we had to make the long drive back to Texas. I was so thankful that I was able to go through the Calgary, Alberta temple with most of my siblings before I left. It was beautiful.
Goodbye Canada.
