Canada Day happened awhile ago, on July 1st. We celebrated. The boys all busted out their most Canadian T-Shirts we could find. We made Nanaimo bars. How Canadian of me. They were delicious. I think I might have to make those again before next Canada Day. Later in the evening we did some fireworks with friends. Happy Canada Day!

I got bit by a spider. I thought it was a misquito bite, but after about a day and a half it started hurting, then getting really red and swollen. I ended up going to the ER to make sure it was nothing too serious, like a Brown Recluse or something. They weren't too sure what kind of spider, so they gave me some antibiotics and sent me home. It worked, so thats good. It hurt like crazy, so I am glad it is finally feeling better. I can now where shoes again.
Reid is finally old enough for swim lessons. He loves it almost as much as he loves his goggles.

So glad you celebrated your Canadian roots, the boys looked so cute in their red and white. Can you bring the nanimo bar recipe to reunion? They looked yummy!
