Holy smokes I love my family. When anyone comes to visit it breaks my heart when they have to leave. It is very difficult to live so far from the ones you love. Nena came down to Texas for a quick trip. I wish it was much longer. She spent a few days down in Frisco with a friend, and then spent a few days up in Denison with us. We stayed up late, laughed, ate and shopped. Fun. Times. Nena needed a mini vacation before her daughter Ivy went in for her third heart operation. Very stressful time for our family, and mostly for Jeff and Nena and the kids.

I miss you already. I cried like a baby leaving the airport.
Meanwhile back in Calgary there was major flooding going on. Most of downtown was underwater, and some of the small towns around Calgary got it bad. So sad. The amazing people of Calgary pulled together and worked like crazy to get the city back in working order. Amazing. Good job Calgarians.
Dahl, once again, got a bad case of Poison Ivy. Not nearly as bad as last time, but still itchy and painful. He needs to stop touching and picking up everything outside. Poor kid.
Rex is a dream baby. I can;t stand how much I love this kid. Me makes me smile all day long.
