Blog to Book

I finally got around to making my blog book.  I started this blog way back when in 2006, and I have been wanting to turn it into a book forever.  Instead of making ONE massive book, I broke it up and put 3 years in one book.  This one is 2006-2008, and my next one will be 2009-2011.  I am so in love with this book.  It has quickly become one of my most cherished items.  I have always been a horrible journal keeper, but for some reason blogging is very easy for me, and I tend to do it enough that it is pretty much a journal of our family's life.  I am so happy I finally did this.  

 Here are a few sample pages.  It is funny to see the quality of my pictures over the years.  I think the camera in my phone NOW, is better than my camera I had back in 2006.

One thing I noticed as I was reading all of these old blog posts, is that I will always remember certain events that happened in my life.  It is all the small details, or the adorable things kids say that made that event blog worthy that I will forget.  I am so glad I have this blog to record my life.  Making this book makes me want to blog daily.

side note...

 If any of you decide to do this, make sure so spell check MANY times.  I spent HOURS and HOURS making this book perfect.  I spent HOURS and HOURS spell checking and spell checking, but I still missed some things.  NAMES......for some reason in a couple entries certain names got changed.  CJ became DC, Dahl became Dahlia, Stacey became Stance and Shannon became Schwannian.  Even though I was so mad reading these mistakes, I laughed pretty hard at Schwannian.  Luckily it is only in a few entries and not through the whole book.  I guess for the next book I will spell check a couple hours longer ;)
