SLC/Provo

On April 16 Aaron and I ran in the SLC 1/2 Marathon.  I had been waiting for this day for about 4 months, and when the time came I was REALLY excited.  Running has never been easy for me, so to do this was a huge accomplishment.  I worked hard training and I think it paid off.  There is no way I would have been able to finish if I did what Aaron did.  He just woke up and did it.  I think his training consisted of running 3 miles a week earlier.  I don't know how he can do that.  This was the first time we have ever been able to run together, and it was so much fun.  I think we both would have walked a lot if we weren't pushing each other to keep going.  But we didn't!!!  it was awesome!!!
I want to make this a yearly event.  I really like the course, and it is always nice to get back to Utah to see family and friends.
We did it!  Unfortunately this is the best picture of me post race. hahaaaha awesome!

After the race we went over to temple square to walk around and meet up with some friends.  It was a  little hard to walk around for me.  My hips were KILLING me.  We had dinner that night at Rodizios then headed up to Provo the spend the week with family.  We stayed with Aaron's cousin Jason and his family.  They just moved into a beautiful new home and we broke it in for them.  Thanks again guys.  We had an awesome week with them.  I think we ate our way through Provo.  We have never been more sick of food in our life. I guess that is what happens when you show up with a list of all the places you want to eat at.  It was also Graduation week at BYU, so that was a bonus because G-Lo and Grandpa were in town too.  Sara, Spencer and Mike all graduated.  Good job guys.
Reid and his cousin Drew {Sara and Spencer's little guy}
 Do you like Reid's cheesy smile.  If he sees a flash this is what I get.

Ty, Brynlee. Haley, Reid and Dahl on Easter morning

I never new Easter could be such a HUGE Holiday.  The boys were super spoiled his year and had three Easter Egg Hunts.  First was at the church.  Second was Easter morning at home.  Then came number 3.  By far the Biggest Easter egg hunt I've ever been to.  Aaron's uncle Ross goes all out.  The kids LOVED it.  They ended up with WAY to much candy.
Brynlee.
I fell in love with this little girl.  She is to die for.  After every thing she said there came a cute little giggle afterwards.  We became buddies.  I think I want a girl.....bad....

 Ty with his eggs
 Haley and Dahl in action mode.  This is there SECOND basket by the way.  Did I mention they got a TON of candy?
 Basket #2

After the kids Egg hunt, Ross put on an adult Gum hunt.  He hid packs of Gum all over the yard.  Fun idea!!
Good bye Provo, we will miss you.  Aaron and I have the best memories living here, and it is mostly because of his family that lives there.  We miss you guys all so much already.  We will have to come visit again soon.
We did it.  The race is over and I am proud of us.  Time to sign up for next years!!

They must have just given the "Y" a fresh coat of paint, it looks like it's glowing in that picture.

You guys are such a gorgeous family!

Also congrats on the 1/2! I'm very impressed, there's no way I could do that...not even with lots of training. I'm just so bad at running. So I'm very impressed!
