Our Week

Aaron didn't have school on Thursday, but he did have to go take something into the school to drop off.   So we decided to go with him and make a fun day out of it.  We decided to go for lunch in Hollywood at this burger joint called Umami Burger.  We saw it featured on Food Network (the best channel ever) and have been wanting to try it for a long time.  On the way we passed through Korea Town and stopped to take a picture of this building.  Can you  guess what it is??

Here is the Umami Burger, loaded with grilled onion, parmesan cheese crisp, mushrooms, grilled tomatoes, and their homemade special ketchup.  It was actually really good.  I don't know if I would drive out of my way for it again, but it was definitely worth trying.

Then on Friday we headed down to the OC to hang out with Dave and Lisa and the kids.  We went to this awesome park up in this really nice gated community.  It had a big playgroup and a putting green.  

So nice.  We went at about 7:00 at night because it was so stinking hot out.  Then Dave and Aaron took the kids night swimming.  They had so much fun.  Ty could barely walk in the morning for a few hours because his legs were sore from swimming.

Good thing Ty is a fast walker.  Watch out Carter

Aaron and Reid.  Reid is 6 weeks old today.
