Today was a GOOD day. It was the ground breaking ceremony for the Calgary, Alberta Temple. It was a very cool experience, and one I hope all the little cousins never forget. I finally went a bought a new camera so I get to share today in picture form. Enjoy!
The Calgary, Alberta Temple in 2 years!!!
Dahl and Ty getting ready to dig. Not really, but they really wanted to.
Ida and Grandpa
Waiting for it to start
Ty being silly. He really didn't want his picture taken, so he gave me the eyebrow
Dahl listening carefully. He looks really old to me in this picture.
The boys got a chance to turn the soil. They thought this was pretty cool!!
After the ceremony we all went out to Grandma and Grandpa's for a BBQ and some fun.
Ty enjoyed the chips
CJ enjoyed the Root Beer floats
I enjoyed having Jess teach me how to USE my new camera
All the kids enjoyed playing baseball and running around outside. It was a beautiful HOT day in Calgary and we took advantage of it by being outside all day.
Then we ended the day by going to Lic's for some yummy ice cream, Like I said, it was a GOOD day

What an awesome experience!! That is neat that the kids go to turn the soil! I hope we can be there for the dedication. It will be exciting to see the progress. Did anyone get tiger tail ice cream?
