Salmon Fun Part 1

Aaron's Dad and brother Nathan were able to come visit us last week. Grandpa just stayed for the weekend and Nathan spent the whole week. Nathan leaves on him mission in July so this was the last time we will see him for 2 years. It was good to spend some time with him before he leaves. Friday we headed down to San Diego to go to Sea World. We had never been so it was a fun new thing to do. We saw the sea lions, Shamu and the dolphins all perform. It is amazing how they can train these animals to do such amazing tricks. I think my favorite was the sea lions, they were actually pretty funny.

Waiting for the Shamu Show to start.

Dahl and Nathan

It was a long day

Saturday Aaron, Dahl, Nathan and Grandpa went to a late night Dodger game, while Ty and I stayed home. Monday Grandpa left and Aaron had to go back to school. Tuesday Nathan, the boys and I went to Disneyland for the day. Wednesday was a lazy day at home. Dahl had a swim lesson in the evening but when we got there Ty started puking everywhere. SO we left before Dahl's lesson started. I felt so bad because the life guards had to clean it all up. I kept thinking that everyone probably thought my kid had Swine Flu. So Thursday ended up being a stay at home day as well because Ty was sooo sick. Sorry Nathan for a couple crappy days. Friday we drove Nathan to the airport.

Then we had some more company. Ron and Leslie (friends for Sacramento) came in for the weekend for their daughter's graduation. Unfortunately, I barley saw them because I ended up being sick in bed ALL weekend. Yesterday for Mother's Day, Aaron and the boys brought me toast and water in bed. For 2 reasons 1.this was all I could stomach, and 2. We had NO food in the house. And Dahl made me the cutest Mother's Day card. Now it is Monday and I think things are finally getting back to normal. Ty and I are feeling better, and the sun is shining!
