Be Prepared

Last night Aaron and I were sitting on the couch watching TV and at 8:39pm we felt our first earthquake. All of the sudden our couch started shaking and our widows started rattling. I looked at Aaron and asked if he could feel that....he did, obviously. After it stopped we went outside and all of our neighbours were out looking around, so it reassured us that we weren't crazy and it was an actual earthquake. We later found out that it happened about 10 miles southwest of downtown LA,and it was a 4.7 magnitude. About 10 minutes after it happened my 8 year old niece Audrey called wondering if we felt it. She then went on to tell me what to do during and earthquake. So cute! Thanks Auder. It was kind of cool, but kind of creepy. So today I think I am going to head over to Costco and stock up on water and food. Be Prepared, not scared!!!
