The Break

Aaron's school is on a trimester schedule so it runs year round with breaks in between each trimester. So right now we are in the middle of a 2 week break from school!!! YAHOO. It was perfect timing for a break because my brother-in-law CJ was coming to LA for work, and Jessica and the kids decided to come along too. So we finally got to see baby Ida! She is the best behaved baby I have ever been around. I think I only heard her cry for about 2 minutes the whole time. So far it has been a fun break. We have spent time in Santa Monica swimming at the hotel pool, we went down to the beach in Orange County, we went to Disneyland (twice), we drove up to Santa Barbra to visit Great Aunt Ruth. What a beautiful and wonderful lady she is. She knits the cutest baby blankets and baby hats. She makes tons of hats and once she reaches 100 she takes them over to the hospital for the new born babies to wear home, then she starts all over again. We have also spent time with Dave and Lisa and the kids. We only have 5 days left of the break and on the schedule we have beach (again), Sea World and a Dodger game. Aaron's dad and brother, Nathan, fly in tomorrow night so I think we are going to do Sea World with them! Nathan is going to Las Vegas on his Mission in July so he is going to spend all next week hanging out with us! Aaron might have to go back to school on Monday but Nathan, the boys and I are going to keep on partying!!!
We also took the boys to the the movie EARTH. Aaron and I have seen all the Planet Earth DVD's and thought they were awesome. We knew this movie would be similar. But it wasn't just similar.......it WAS Planet Earth. It was really good and the boys loved it, but we felt kind of ripped off because we have already seen it all before.

"Indeed, about 60 percent of "Earth" has already been shown repeatedly, free, on Discovery Channel. A sequence in "Earth" showing great white sharks breaching as they feed on sea lions, for instance, will be familiar to anyone who has seen "Planet Earth.""
- New York Times

They only said 60% but I didn't see ANYTHING I hadn't seen before.

Aunt Ruth's house!

Dahl, Ty, Eli, Carter and Audrey being silly outside Olive Garden.

Dahl made me take this picture because in the flowers behind him were TONS of bees, and he kept telling me that they were his friends. He has been watching "BEE Movie" a lot lately, I think it was on in the car on the way to disneyland. So he wanted a picture with his new FRIENDS!!! He doesn't look that happy in the picture, but he really was.
