The Huntington Museum

So I posted my face book status today as "Stacey is wondering what to do today...any suggestions?" My sister Jessica gave me a great idea. She told me to go to the Huntington Library. I remember going there a few years ago when Jess and CJ lived in South Pasadena, and I remembered it being beautiful. What a good idea. So when Ty woke up from his nap that's what we did. We drove 10 minutes to the Huntington Library.
The Huntington is a research and educational center set amidst 120 acres of breathtaking gardens. Three art galleries and a library showcase, magnificent collections of paintings, sculptures, rare books, manuscripts, and decorative arts. The botanical collection features over 14,000 different species of plants. (stole this from their website.)
Dahl had a great time running around, and Ty just chilled in the stroller. It was only 76 degrees today, but pushing that stroller up and down hills for an hour and a half made me soooo hot and tired. We probably didn't even see half of the stuff there. I will definitely have to go back another day. By the end Dahl and I were dying of thirst. So we then walked around the parking lot for 25 minutes trying to remember where I had parked. Every isle is the EXACT same and you can't see to the next isle because there are huge trees in between, but I finally found it. YAHOO!! Here are a bunch of pictures.

Before we left the house. Ty always has a toy in his mouth...ALWAYS

Dahl and MOM!!

Finally I got a good picture of these two goofballs!!
