So about a week ago we helped Dahl write a letter to Santa. All he wanted was Inja (ninja) Turtles and balls. So he wrote him saying how good of a boy he has been, and then I drew a picture of a Ninja Turtle (Dahl thought it was a snowman, so that shows you how great of a drawer I am.) Yesterday Dahl magically got a letter in the mail from SANTA!!!! He was sooooooo excited. Santa told him that because he has been such a good boy, and since he has been so nice to his brother that he is going to bring him Ninja Turtles, a Ninja Turtle mask and a soccer ball. On a quick side note, Aaron noticed about a month ago that when Dahl gets excited he always says "oh gosh" and he says it all the time now. So when Aaron read that Santa was bringing him a Ninja Turtle mask Dahl looks at us and says "oh gosh, I'm going to be a turtle." It was the cutest thing ever. We couldn't stop laughing. So here is a picture of Dahl holding his beloved letter from Santa.
We also took him to the mall to see Santa and he ran up and gave him the biggest hug. He got really sad when we left, so I asked him what was wrong and he said "I didn't get my turtles." He didn't get it that he has to tell Santa what he wants, and then Santa brings it on Christmas. He thought Santa would give him the Turtles right there. After some convincing we got him to believe us that Santa will still bring them. This has been a fun year for Christmas because Dahl is so excited about it. He loves Santa and everything to do with Christmas. He also thinks it's pretty cool that his birthday is on Christmas because Santa comes on his birthday.
Here is Ty being a happy boy. He has had a really bad cold the past week and he is finally starting to feel better. When he is feeling good he is such a good boy. I can't wait until he isn't sick every other week.
I took Aaron to the airport at 5:30am so he could catch his flight to Boston. He has another Dental interview there tomorrow. So I am husbandless for the next 2 days. I hate it when he goes away, it sucks. But we are very excited about another interview. This is number 3. New York, Pittsburgh and now Boston. Why is it that all the schools back East like him? We would love to stay in the west, but it doesn't really matter, we are happy to go anywhere. Good Luck Aaron!! We miss you already.
